What does a LinkedIn ghostwriter do?

A LinkedIn ghostwriter turns your experience into posts that publish under your name. You supply the expertise, and the writer shapes it and keeps the calendar full.

I write for the decision-makers who can hire you this year. They read stories from the trenches, with real numbers attached. So I interview you and write each post around 1 story.

Already tried a LinkedIn ghostwriter?

You got likes. You wanted booked calls.

A buyer weighing a 6-figure engagement looks for someone who understands their world. Each post I write answers 1 of the 5 questions that buyer asks before the first call:

  • Risk: is this a safe bet for me?
  • Proof: has this worked for a company like mine?
  • Understanding: does this person know my world?
  • Trust: will they deliver what they promise?
  • Status: will hiring them make me look good to my peers?

How it works

From audit to a month of posts.

01

Audit

Every engagement starts with an audit of your social, your website and the voice of your customer. You give me access to the data, and I map what your buyers respond to.

02

Kickoff

A call to understand you as a person: your background and how you think. You also share client call recordings or customer interviews, so I hear your buyers in their own words.

03

Monthly interview

I show up with researched questions and interview you like a podcast, for about an hour. While you talk, I listen for the stories behind your best deals.

04

A month of posts

A couple of days later, a month of posts lands in your inbox: 2 to 3 a week, plus video and carousel scripts when they fit your plan.

05

Approve and publish

You edit until you give the thumbs up. I load and schedule the month for you, or you post it yourself.

5 questions to ask any LinkedIn ghostwriter before you hire

Put these to every writer on your shortlist, then compare their answers with mine.

  1. Where will my posts come from? From you: the stories you tell in our monthly interview.
  2. How will you learn my voice? I document it in a written voice profile and fit the style to the person. If a draft sounds like you when I read it out loud, it ships.
  3. Who writes the drafts? I write every draft myself. AI handles transcripts and research.
  4. How will we measure it? We set the scoreboard together at kickoff. Some clients track booked calls and meeting quality. Others want reach for a national brand.
  5. How will it improve over time? Every month I review the numbers. I drop the topics that stall and write more of the ones that book meetings, so each month sharpens the next.

The fit

For leaders whose expertise already closes deals.

Best fit

  • You own or lead an established B2B company.
  • You work in M&A advisory, sales consulting and training, professional services, specialty finance or B2B tech.
  • Your sales motion wins business, and you budget for growth.
  • You want to approve drafts and spend your hours on clients.
  • You'll open your data and client recordings for the audit.

Better fit elsewhere

  • You pay for marketing out of your own pocket.
  • You want LinkedIn to replace your sales process.

What clients say happened

Every quote below comes word for word from a client message.

“This deal is from our LinkedIn work by the way / An old client who saw my LI posts”

A client, on a $1M proposal

“He started following my LinkedIn posts and commenting, and he direct messaged me and said, I think I have a client for you.”

A client, on a $500K success fee

“he already had me on a list of three people because he read my LinkedIn profile and saw my posts. So I can attribute to you, like, $100,000.”

A client, on a new account he credits to his LinkedIn

“So much of my credibility for this conversation was built from my LinkedIn and website content you put together for me!”

A fractional CRO, after closing an $85K audit from a cold LinkedIn lead

“My inbound machine has been crazy this week. 8 calls. Multiple signed clients. More scheduled next week already.”

FAQ

Questions buyers ask before hiring a LinkedIn ghostwriter.

How much does a LinkedIn ghostwriter cost?

Freelance LinkedIn writers often start around $500 a month. Full-service agencies can top $10,000 a month. Post volume and the formats you need, such as video scripts, set the price. I scope every engagement to your company. Book a call and you'll leave with a number.

How much of my time does a LinkedIn ghostwriter need?

Month 1 asks the most of you: access to your data and client recordings for the audit, a kickoff call, and your first interview, about 90 minutes of calls in all. After that, 1 interview a month, about an hour. Between interviews, we text.

How many posts a week will I publish?

2 to 3. I recommend that range for B2B leaders, because it gives every post room to earn its slot.

What if my ideas aren't new?

Your experience puts your fingerprint on a familiar topic. A market downturn reads differently from someone who lived through the last one and can say what they did about it. I interview you for those stories, so your posts carry your read on it.

My industry is niche. Can you write for it?

I've written for lawyers, sales leaders, M&A advisors and an AI company. You're the subject matter expert, and I'll take care of the rest.

Can my partners join later?

Yes. I usually start with 1 leader for a month or 2, so your team sees the results first. Each partner you add brings a new voice and a network of their own.

Is it honest to use a LinkedIn ghostwriter?

Executives have worked with speechwriters and ghostwriters for generations. The ideas come from you, and each post waits for your approval before it goes live.

Is this LinkedIn only?

Your buyers notice you on LinkedIn. If you want your newsletter, blog and book in the same voice, the Content Ecosystem offer puts all of it in my hands as your Fractional Chief Content Officer.

Why do you blur client names?

My clients expect discretion, and I protect it. Most prefer their content to stay theirs. The wins on this site come from real screenshots clients let me share. I blur the names. The recommendations on my LinkedIn come from people who chose to vouch for me in public.

Put your best deal stories in front of the buyers who can hire you.

1 call. We review your LinkedIn and your goals, and you leave with a number and a plan.

30 minutes. I'll bring the questions.
